PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2018 pertaining to measuring the lands of the petitioner with Taluk Sureyor in Survey No.67/1A to an extent of 36 cents in Pethikuppam Village, Gummudipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

O R D E R

By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This Writ Petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2018 with regard to survey of his lands in Survey No.67/1A in Pethikuppam Village, Gummudipoondi Taluk, Thiruvallur District and pass orders.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2018 and pass orders on merits and in

accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and any of the interested parties, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
