ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein not to harass this petitioner herein by appreciating the above stated facts and circumstances.

2. The petitioner claims to be a social activist involved in social services by conducting eye camps from the year 2016 and till date, he had conducted three eye camps. Notice of the Eye camps and photographs are annexed in the typed set of papers filed along with this petition. Further, from the representation of the petitioner, dated 06.07.2021, it is seen https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

that the respondent police had received a complaint from one Murugesan and Gandhimathi stating that the petitioner had sold a poramboke land to them for a sum of Rs.50,000/-. The respondent Police are now forcing the petitioner to settle the issue by paying a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-. The above offence alleged to have taken place in the year 2017, which is a motivated one.

3. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on 26.07.2021. The respondent Police is directed to summon Murugesan and Gandhimathi and conduct an enquiry and dispose of the petition. If any cognizable offence is made out, the First Information Report shall be registered, otherwise the complaint will be closed, with proper intimation to the petitioner.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
