This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.05.2016 in CSR.No.96/2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, on the complaint dated 20.05.2016 given by the petitioner, petition enquiry was conducted in CSR No.96 of 2016 and the same was closed on 21.05.2016. A copy of the Closure Report has been furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.
