..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for writ of mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2020, as per the provisions at the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014, made for granting permission/ certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the Petitioner's bunk shop at Arcot Lutheran Church Compound, Women's Christian Hostel, E.V.K.Sampath, (Opp. Pushpa Villa), Vepery, Chennai wherein selling Tea, Coffee, Juice, Cool drinks and Chat and Food Tiffin items by using LPG Gas Stove.

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the Respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2020, as per the provisions at the Street Vendors (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014, made for granting permission/ certificate of vending and till such time not to disturb with the running of the Petitioner's bunk shop at Arcot Lutheran Church Compound, Women's Christian Hostel, E.V.K.Sampath, (Opp. Pushpa Villa), Vepery, Chennai wherein selling Tea, Coffee, Juice, Cool drinks and Chat and Food Tiffin items by using LPG Gas Stove.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the documents available on record.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner has made representation dated 17.02.2020 to the respondents as per provisions at the Street Vendor (Protection of livelihood Regulation) Act 2014 not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop at Arcot Lutheran Church Compound, Women's Christian Hostel,E.V.K.Sampath Road, Chennai. Since there was no response from the respondents, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.
4. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents have considered petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2020 and passed orders and the same will be communicated to the petitioner in due course.
5. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
