ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to file a report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Viruthachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District, in connection with Crime No.38 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.38 of 2016 has been registered and is being investigated by the respondent police.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
