Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in C3/D.O.No.56/2022 dated 07.05.2022 against the petitioner's husband Raja S/o.Mukkaiya Devar, aged 55 years, now confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner is the wife of the detenu viz., Raja S/o.Mukkaiya Devar, aged 55 years. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in C3/D.O.No.56/2022 dated 07.05.2022, holding him to be a "Drug Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the detenu in C3/D.O.No.56/2022 dated 07.05.2022, on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.3789, Home, Prohibition and Excise (IX) Department, dated 24.06.2022 and produced a copy of the said order. In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
