ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner had sought for sub-division of the property and for issuance of patta in his name for the subject property. 2.

Mr.E.B.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the application given by the petitioner has been taken on file and the enquiry has been fixed by the 2nd respondent on 11.09.2020 at 3.00 p.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner shall be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 2nd respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner and take appropriate action, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
