ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents/police to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2018 within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the former President of Pattakurichi Village and Chairman of Festival Committee. He further submitted that in every year they used to celebrate the Arulmighu Mariyamman Cart Festival and this year they have decided to celebrate the festival on 24.05.2018. He further submitted that with regard to the celebration of the said festival, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the second respondent on 05.05.2018 seeking permission, but so https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

far no order has been passed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader has submitted that the representation is still pending for enquiry before the second respondent.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2018 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law on or before 21.05.2018 and intimate the same to the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
