ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.147 of 2016, pending on the file of the respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.147 of 2016 has been registered and is being investigated by the respondent police.

4. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation expeditiously and file a final report or closure report as the case may be.
