ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2023 to cancel the appointment of the fifth respondent as trustee and to remove the lock from the doors of Manickavasaga Swami Madam at Poondi Village, Thiruvannamalai District.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that ends of justice would be met if the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 9.1.2023 within a stipulated time.
3. Mr.S.Yashwanth, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondents 2 to 4, submitted that, if six weeks' time is granted, the third respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 9.1.2023 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. 2/5
4. In view of the limited scope of the relief now prayed for by learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 9.1.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.13495 of 2023 is closed.
