This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to give a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case in Cr.No.219 of 2015 under Section 366 A IPC has been registered against the petitioner and the same is pending before the respondent police.
4.In view of submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent. Hence, no blanket order of not to harass the petitioner can be passed. The petitioner is directed to cooperate for the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, he should not be harassed. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
