ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register the complaint dated 20.05.2016 given by the petitioner and to investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 20.05.2016 by post to the Inspector of Police, Puthur Village, Kancheepuram.

4. There is no such police station in Kancheepuram District. Hence, liberty is given to the petitioner to go in person along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint before the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, Chennai, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 20.05.2016. On such complaint being given, the same shall be allotted to the competent authority for enquiry and take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
