Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 as per the provisions of the Street Vendors(Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014 and till such time not to disturb with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop opposite to Door no.105, Hindu Burma Agency, Opposite to no.6, New no.11, State Bank Street, Indian Engineering Agency, near State Bank of India, Annasalai, Chennai-2 wherein he is selling Tea, Coffee, Snacks and other food.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 as per the provisions of the Street Vendors(Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014 and till such time not to disturb the running of the petitioner's bunk shop which is situated opposite to Door no.105, Hindu Burma Agency, Opposite to no.6, New no.11, State Bank Street, Indian Engineering Agency, near State Bank of India, Annasalai, Chennai2. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is running a bunk shop opposite to Door no.105, Hindu Burma Agency near State Bank of India, Anna Salai, Chennai-2.. Since there was interference by the Corporation officials, he seeks to grant permission to run the aforesaid bunk shop as per the provisions of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the ''The Street Vendors(Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014. In this regard, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent requesting to grant permission for running the bunk shop. However, no action has been forthcoming by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Heard Mr.R.Kamaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.T.Ramadevi, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that as stated by the petitioner if such bunk shop is running by the petitioner in the aforesaid place, petitioner's application will be duly considered by the respondent in accordance with law.
5. In view of the submissions made and also considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion, this Courts directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.04.2021 as per the provisions of ''The Street Vendors(Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if necessary after providing an opportunity of fair and effective hearing to the parties concerned.
