The present criminal original petition has been filed to give direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that based on the complaint lodged by one Ayyamperumal, the respondent police is harassing the petitioner by frequently calling him. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a property dispute between the petitioner and his brother. During the course of enquiry, the petitioner undertook to pay a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- to his brother Ayyamperumal. Based on the undertaking given by the petitioner, the complaint is closed. Hence, the presence of the petitioner is not required by the respondent police. 4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion that there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondent police. Hence, the present criminal original petition is closed.
