Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the entire records relating to the impugned notice dated 06.10.2022 issued by the 5th respondent herein namely the Revenue Inspector, Kelambakkam Circle, Thiruporur Taluk, Chengalpet District quash the same as non-est in the eye of law and consequently direct the 5th respondent herein, his men, agents and servants not to disturb the peaceful occupation, enjoyment and possession of the schedule property situated in Survey Number 229/2, Kazhipattur Village, Punjai Tharisu land total extent of 0.18.0 Ares out of the above said 0.18.0 a part vacant land admeasuring 0.04.0 Ares in Kazhipattur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kelambakkam Circle, Chengelpattu District in view of the recommendations in the proceedings dated 29.02.2012 of the 5th respondent herein for the issuance of patta to the petitioner's mother herein. The petitioner challenges the notice issued by the 5th respondent dated 06.10.2022. Admittedly, the petitioner has submitted his reply to the said notice on 17.10.2022. It appears no orders have been passed thereon.
2. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the 5th respondent / Revenue Inspector, Kelambakkam Circle, Thiruporur Taluk, 2 / 4
Chengalpattu District to pass appropriate orders on the representation / reply submitted by the petitioner on 17.10.2022, if not already passed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that status quo as on today shall be maintained till the disposal of the reply / representation of the petitioner, if no orders have been already passed.
