ORDER

(made by S. VAIDYANATHAN, J.) This contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 17.03.2022 passed in W.P. No.6023 of 2022.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, a copy of the notice dated 19.10.2023 issued under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, was produced before this Court. Since as per the notice adverted to above, there is an encroachment, after getting reply/objections from the encroacher, a decision has to be taken within a period of three months. In case, no action is taken by the respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to re-open the contempt petition.
