Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent vide in his proceedings in Rc.No.C2/17669/2020 dated 27.08.2020 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband viz., S.Subramani, S/o.Singaram, aged about 41 years, before this Court, who is now confined at the Central Prison at Cuddalore and set him at liberty.

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that this petition has become infructuous, inasmuch as, the detention order was passed on 27.08.2020, but, this habeas corpus petition was filed only very recently.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
