PRAYER This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of constitution of India seeking Writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent in Proceedings circular NO. AO (CDN)/ Aadhar / 2015/ F dt. 16.10.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents not to insist on furnishing of the details of Aadhar card Number for purposes of issuing ID Card for all employees.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed the by petitioner, seeking to quash the order dated 16.10.2015, made in Proceedings Circular No.AO(CDN)/Aadhar/2015/F passed by the second respondent, and for a consequential direction not to insist on furnishing of the details of Aadhar card number for purposes of issuing ID card for all employees.

2. The learned counsel appearing on either side submit that the Aadhaar numbers have been linked and, therefore, the cause does survive, and the matter has become infructuous.

3. Though the matter has become infructuous, this Court emphasise that

the personal details of the petitioner found in the Aadhaar card are not shared with anyone in violation of the relevant Act.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. K.SURENDER, J.
