ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to take appropriate and effective action on the petitioner's complaint under relevant provisions of law including the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, in the light of the proceedings issued by the 3rd Respondent dated 29.01.2026 and his subsequent communication dated 23.02.2026.
2. Heard Mr.Guruprasad, learned counsel for Government takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. In view of the order that this Court proposes to pass and also the limited relief that is sought to be granted, notice to the 4th respondent is dispensed with.
3. At the outset, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that there may be difficulty in seeking a direction for registering an F.I.R. However, it was clarified by the learned counsel for petitioner that they only want the complaint to be enquired and thereafter proceed in accordance with law, agreed to by the learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3.
4. In view of the above, taking into consideration the submission made by the learned counsel for petitioner, this Court directs the respondents concerned to conduct an enquiry on petitioner's complaint and proceed in accordance with law.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
