(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded judicial custody on 25.07.2020 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii)(B) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, in Crime No.722 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent, on instructions submitted that the petitioner has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 in D.O.No.35 of 2020 dated 31.08.2020 by the District Collector, Thirupattur.
