ORDER

W.M.P.No.15237 of 2026 filed seeking for permission to join together to file a single writ petition is ordered on payment of separate court fee.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to strictly maintain the Park/Open Space Reservation in accordance with DTCP approval dated 10.08.2018 in respect of the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026.

3. According to the petitioner, the respondents are attempting to construct a marriage hall in the Open Space Reservation area allocated under the DTCP approval dated 10.08.2018 in respect of the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. The petitioner had objected to the same by giving a representation to the respondents on 19.01.2026. Since the said objection has not been considered, this writ petition has been filed.

4. Mr.M.Shahjahan, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 3 and 4. Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 19.01.2026 requesting the respondents to strictly maintain the Park/Open Space Reservation in accordance with DTCP approval dated 10.08.2018 in respect of the property more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
