Ms.C.Meera Arumugam,AGP Order This writ petition has been filed to direct respondents 5 and 6 to reinstate the demolished overhead water tank in the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this court. 2.According to the petitioner, he is a villager in the very same area where the overhead water tank was demolished. The respondents 5 and 6 ought not to have demolished the said overhead tank as they were directed only to demolish the compound wall by orders of this Court. The petitioner is aggrieved by the same. The petitioner had given a representation on 18.02.2026 to respondents 1 to 4 requesting them to reinstate the demolished overhead water tank in the property. Since the representation of the petitioner has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026 seeking for direction to respondents 5 and 6 to reinstate the demolished overhead water tank in the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
