JUDGMENT

This petition has been filed by the wife seeking to transfer HMOP No.197 of 2014 filed by the respondent / husband for divorce on the file of Principal Sub-Court, Cuddalore, to the file of Principal Sub-Court, Namakkal, as she is residing in Paramathyvelur in Namakkal District.

2. The respondent has been served, as per the details given by the postal authorities, which have been downloaded from the Internet. Therefore, the name of the respondent was directed to be printed and the matter was also directed to be posted today. Even today, when the matter is called, the respondent is not present.

3. In view of that, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has to be allowed. That apart, the petitioner is a lady and she has to travel from Paramathyvelur to Cuddalore, which is located 250 Kilo meters away from Paramathyvelur. Therefore, even on the question of convenience of the petitioner, the case pending on the file of Principal Sub-Court, Cuddalore, has to be transferred to the file of Principal Sub-Court, Namakkal.

4. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and the HMOP No.197 of 2014 pending on the file of Principal Sub-Court, Cuddalore, is directed to be transferred to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the file of Principal Sub-Court, Namakkal. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
