O R D E R

The respondent initiated proceedings in HMOP No.189 of 2014 before the Sub-Court, Arakkonam, praying for a decree of divorce. The petitioner on receipt of court notice filed this petition for transfer.

2. The respondent, who is present in Court made an endorsement indicating that he has no objection for transferring the proceedings to the Court at Tambaram.

3. The petitioner is a resident of Alandur. The respondent is a resident of Vellore. The proceedings is now pending before the Sub-Court, Arakkonam. There is no need for a factual adjudication, in view of the consent given by the respondent for transfer. I am therefore of the view that the transfer petition deserves to be allowed.

4. The proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.189 of 2014 is withdrawn from the file of Sub-Court, Arakkonam and is transferred to the file of Sub-Court, Tambaram, for disposal on merits. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as indicated above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
