ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register an FIR on the complaint dated 20.07.2016, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has not attached any proof for having given the complaint dated 20.07.2016. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tiruvallur, containing the very same contents as stated in the complaint dated 20.07.2016. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.
