O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to get the final report numbered before the Court below since the same is pending without any progress from the year 2017 onwards.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that a final report has been filed before the CCB & CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam, Chennai in the year 2018 against four accused persons for an offence under Sections 420, 409, 477(A) IPC read with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Section 34 IPC (4 counts). However till date the Court below has not taken cognizance of the final report and it is kept pending. 4.There shall be a direction to the CCB & CBCID Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam, Chennai to take the final report on file and take cognizance and proceed further in accordance with law. This exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
