ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed by the petitioner/accused for seeking modification of the condition imposed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.MP.No.5559 of 2021 in C.No.2 of 2021 dated 25.03.2021.

2. It seems that the defacto complainant and his brother were returning after new year celebration, the petitioner/A1 along with other accused waylaid them and abused them in filthy language. When the same was questioned by the defacto complainant, all the accused attacked him with knife and damaged the two wheeler and load vehicle with stone and wooden log. Further, there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner. The petitioner was a habitual offender , for which, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the trial court while granting bail imposed condition to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of Crime No.2/2021. Challenging the same, the present modification petition has been filed.

3. Considering the offence committed by the petitioner, the Principal Sessions Court imposing a condition to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- to the credit of Crime No.2/2021 is just and reasonable. Hence, this Court warrants no interference and this modification petition is liable to be dismissed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition for modification is dismissed.
