This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. On a reading of the complaint given by one Senthil, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent. Hence, no blanket order of not to harass the petitioner can be passed. The petitioner is directed to co-operate for the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, he should not be harassed. If any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioner against arrest.
With the observations, the criminal original petition is closed.
