The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to file the final report after conducting the enquiry with regard to the complaint dated 22.07.2013 given by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Ravi in respect of land dispute between them. The said complaint was not registered and there is no progress in the investigation of the case. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the enquiry has been conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, the complaint of the petitioner has been closed.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, as the enquiry has been conducted on the complaint given by the petitioner and the complaint has already been closed, nothing survives in this petition and hence this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
