ORDER

When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have preferred a writ appeal against the order of this Court dated 29.11.2024 in W.P.No.34401 of 2019 vide W.A.Sr.No.210196 of 2025.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the respondents have now chose to file a writ appeal against the order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court though with a condone delay and the same is pending consideration, the present contempt petition may not be proceeded with.

3. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents while confirming that the writ appeal has been filed and the same is pending consideration before the Division Bench of this Court, the contempt petition may be closed.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking note of the fact that the writ appeal has been filed against the order of this Court in W.P.No.34401 of 2019 dated 29.11.2024, the contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to

revive this contempt petition after the disposal of the writ appeal, if the cause of action survives.
