This petition has been filed to quash the FIR registered in Cr.No.3602 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent police.

2. On the complaint lodged by the second respondent, the first respondent has registered FIR in Cr.No.3602 of 2015 as against the petitioner/A1 for the offence punishable under Section 174(iii) of Cr.P.C (Hanging).

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions, submitted that now the offence has been altered into Section 306 of IPC as against the accused and also filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur. Therefore, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and is liable to be dismissed.

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
