The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2015 in accordance with law and hold enquiry under section 151 PSO Act to secure the ends of justice.

2. The petitioner is the owner of Hero Splender bearing Registration No.TN.25 AU 1940 and the same is forcibly taken by the respondent from his house on 14.08.2015. When the petitioner approached the police station for return of the vehicle, the petitioner was tortured by the second respondent and detained in the police station and the second respondent has not returned the vehicle to the petitioner. consumed poison and he was admitted in the hospital and his life was saved. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor as well as the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court directs the petitioner to approach the first respondent with all the necessary documents and on production of the same, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders with regard to the return of the vehicle, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
