O R D E R
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay 10% interest for the belated payment of terminal benefits such as gratuity, leave salary, P.F and commutation of pension amount and unpaid last retirement month 10 days salary to the petitioners.

The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners were appointed as Driver and Conductors in the first respondent Transport Corporation on 28.03.1997, 27.03.1997 and 18.09.1997 respectively and after completion of 25 to 30 years of service, the petitioners had retired from service on 31.05.2022, 28.03.1997 and 30.04.2023 respectively as Selection Grade 2/5
Driver and Selection Grade Conductors on attaining the age of superannuation. However, the terminal benefits have been settled only on 18.06.2023, 01.11.2024 and 12.02.2025 respectively and no interest has been paid for the delayed period. In view of the same, the petitioners submitted representations dated 19.02.2025, 25.01.2025 and 26.02.2025 to the respondents to pay interest for the delayed period. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the representations made by the petitioners are yet to be considered, this Court without going into merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representations dated 19.02.2025, 25.01.2025 and 26.02.2025 respectively on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
