PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records of the 2nd Respondent in reference to Detention Order in S.C.No.5/2025 dated 27.02.2025, setting aside the order of detention passed therein and directing the respondent to produce the detenue by namely Thiru.Essakimuthu @ Itly Mani, Son of Thiru.Murugan, aged about 20 years before this Court, now detained in Central Jail at Salem and setting him at liberty. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.1948, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 11.04.2025, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.

2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
