ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.Sundar,J.) The complaint of the writ petitioner, in the instant writ petition, is regarding construction of a new bus stand for the Villupuram Region.

2. The crux of the complaint of the writ petitioner is that the demolition and extension work are being carried out in the new bus stand without proper approval and that the manner in which it is now being constructed is not in the interest of general public.

3. The writ petitioner has stated that he has sent a detailed representation dated 19.7.2016 to various authorities, including the District Collector, Villupuram District, who has been arrayed as the third respondent before us.

4. At the hearing, the writ petitioner abridges his prayer and says that he will be satisfied if there is a direction to the third respondent (The District Collector, Villupuram District) to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 19.7.2016 in a manner known to law.

5. Considering the abridged prayer of the writ petitioner and the order which we propose to pass, we express no opinion whatsoever about the complaint of the writ petitioner, which has been referred to supra. That is done merely for completion of facts.

6. Owing to all that have been stated supra, we direct the third respondent before us, i.e., the District Collector, Villupuram District, to consider and pass orders on the representation of the writ petitioner dated 19.7.2016 (annexed at Page Nos.26 and 27 of the typed set of papers) in a manner known to law. The third respondent shall give opportunity of being heard to any one whom he considers is necessary, at his discretion.

7. The third respondent (The District Collector, Villupuram District) shall so consider and pass appropriate orders/dispose of the above said representation dated 19.6.2016 given by the writ petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
