... Respondents Prayer:- This Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent No.3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2018.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

2. The petitioner herein has approached this Court seeking Mandamus to dispose of the representation dated 05.12.2019 made to the 3rd respondent/the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Housing) and to reconsider the order passed by him on

22.01.2018 resolving the petitioner/Tamil Nadu Government Servants Co-operative Building Society Ltd. It appears that the petitioner/Society was found to be mismanaged and literally become defunct. After a short stint of management through Special Officer, the elected body has taken the administration but, it could not get over the bad weather, which has prompted the respondent to dissolve the Society. However, the petitioner herein has given a detailed representation on 05.12.2018, to reconsider the order of dissolving the society. The said representation is still pending on the file of the 3rd respondent/the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies (Housing). The present Writ Petition is for direction to dispose of the said representation, in accordance with law.

3. The learned Government Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner herein is under consideration.

4. With the above said circumstances, it is suffice to dispose the writ petition, with the direction to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner herein on 05.12.2018, within a period of one month, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
