This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner for carrying out works in the underground water pipe line of road comprised in S.No.238/2, 208, 156/3 situated at North Shankaramanallur village, Maduthukulam Taluk, Tiruppur District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that, this petitioner has made an application to the Chief Engineer, Highways Department for laying of water pipeline beneath the road for taking water to her lands. This application has been allowed, by the proceedings of the Chief Engineer dated 26.08.2015, on certain conditions. While so, it is alleged by the petitioner that, one Doraisamy, Pumathi and others are unnecessarily objecting and are preventing the petitioner from laying the pipes. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In this regard, this petitioner has given a representation dated 25.09.2015 to the Inspector of Police, Mylapuram Police Station for police protection. Since this petitioner has obtained appropriate orders from the authorities, the respondent police is directed to examine the representation dated 25.09.2015 and afford police protection to the petitioner for laying the pipes.
