ORDER
Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent filed a memo dated 09.09.2024, stating that the parties have settled the dispute among themselves. The said memo is taken on record. 1/4
For better appreciation paragraph 5 of the memo is reproduced hereunder :- "The both the parties were also undertook to withdraw the cases instituted by her i.e., 1.OP.No.812 of 2022, 2.Cont.P.No.1118of 2023, 3.Tr.CMP.No.1216 of 2023 on the file of the Hon'ble High Court of Madras and 4.DVC.61 of 2022 on the file of the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet at Chennai. OP.No.812 of 2022 has been closed on 15.022024. OP.No.812 of 2022 has been closed on 15.022024. Accordingly, both the parties herein had filed a HMOP.No.899 of 2024 on the file of Learned I Additional Family Court, Chennai and the same has been ordered on 30.04.2024 itself and pendency of this Contempt proceedings has not serve any purpose as the matter has been settled between the parties themselves and the same may be closed."
2. The learned counsel for the applicant had also acknowledged the facts stated by the learned counsel for the respondent.
3. In view of the settlement between the parties, no further 2/4
adjudication is required.
