This petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Principal District Judge, Salem cum Special Judge under SC&ST (P.A) Act, Salem, to consider the bail application of the petitioner on his surrender in connection with the case in Crime No.592 of 2020, pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Veeranam Police Station, Salem City on the same day.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is completed and the respondent police have already filed a closure report as "Mistake of Fact" on 01.08.2020. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Petition has become infructuous.
