O R D E R

The wife, who is the respondent in O.P.No.441 of 2015, has filed this petition to transfer the same from the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Madurai, for disposal.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent/husband has filed a petition in O.P.No.441 of 2015 on the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, for divorce. The petitioner/wife is residing in Madurai along with her daughter, who is six years old and hence, it is difficult for her to attend the Court at Chennai. Therefore, she prays that the case may be transferred from the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Madurai. 3.When the matter was taken up on 07.12.2015, both sides counsel represented that there is a possibility for settlement and hence, the matter was posted today under the caption 'for reporting settlement'.

Today, learned counsel for the respondent/husband submits that there is no chance for settlement. Further, he has no objection to transfer the case as sought for by the petitioner.

4.Recording the no objection given by the learned counsel for the respondent/husband, the petition in O.P.No.441 of 2015 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is ordered to be withdrawn from the file of the Principal Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Madurai. The Presiding Officer, Principal Family Court, Chennai, is directed to transmit all the records pertaining to O.P.No.441 of 2015 to the file of the Family Court, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous petition is ordered. No costs.
