ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner joined the service as directly recruited Grade II Police Constable on 30.06.1976 in the Tamil Nadu Special Police Batallion IV, Kovaipudur and was promoted as Grade I Police Constable and further upgraded as Head Constable in the year 1999 and when he was due to attain the age of superannuation on 30.06.2013, he was placed under suspension and also not permitted to retire. The petitioner was visited with a disciplinary action in P.R. No.26 of 2007 under Rule 3(b) of the Tamil Nadu Police Subordinate Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules and disciplinary proceedings is culminated in the order of dismissal from service on 10.09.2013. The appeal preferred by the petitioner to the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Trichy range has also ended in dismissal on 07.11.2013. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has filed a review petition before the first respondent. Since it has not been given disposal, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.Ayngarapabhu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into merits of the same, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the review petition dated 20.03.2014 submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
