Respondents Prayer: Original Petition filed under Sections 3, 7 to 10 and 29 of the Guardian and Wards Act of 1890 read with Order XXI Rules 2 and 3 of the High Court Original Side Rules, to appoint the petitioner as the guardian of the person and to let out property of the Minor P.Darryl Franklin born on 07.07.2000 and to permit the petitioner to withdraw the money held in deposit and to receive the insurance claims and to deposit the same in the name of minor.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Original Petition has become infructuous since the Minor P.Darryl Franklin who was born on 07.07.2000 has attained majority and nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.

2.The records would reveal that the age of the minor on the date of filing of the application dated 12.07.2016 was 16 years and he has now therefore attained majority.
