Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2017 and thereby consequently direct the first respondent to regularize the petitioner's service from the year 01.06.1993 as casual labour in the third respondent Department in pursuance to the proceedings of the third respondent dated 15.07.2011.

ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider her representation dated 3.3.2017 with a consequential direction to the first respondent to regularise her services, as she is working as casual labour in the third respondent department

from 1.6.93, on completion of ten years service, pursuant to the proceedings passed by the third respondent dated 15.7.2011.

2. Mr.M.Dig Vijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. In her representation dated 3.3.2017, the petitioner has stated that she has been working from 1993 as NMR (Mazdoor). Therefore, her services should be regularised for the purpose of getting the time scale of pay and other perks.

4. Since the representation addressed to the respondents is pending, without going to the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the second respondent to consider the pending representation of the petitioner on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
