Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct cultural programme in Tiruthani Velmurugan, Thirukovil festival, Bootanur, Krishnagiri District scheduled to be held on 08.08.2015 between 8.00 p.m to 10.00 p.m.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of Tiruthani Velmurugan Thirukovil, Bootanur, Krishnagiri District and while conducting temple festival, song and dance programme is scheduled to be performed on 08.08.2015 and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 31.07.2015 to the respondent seeking permission and since, he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and obscenity and vulgarity will not be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. This Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2015, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 07.08.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
