ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2021 seeking transfer from the office of the 3rd respondent to the office of the 4th respondent or to permit him to go for voluntary retirement from service. 2.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed before it. 3.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim made by him in his representation, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
