JUDGMENT

This Criminal Appeal has been filed against the dismissal order passed by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Thiruvallur in Crl.M.P.No.2505 of 2021 dated 15.06.2021 and order the release of the appellant in bail pending investigation in Crime No.08 of 2021 under section 376, 307 of IPC and section 3(1)(w)(i), 3(1)(w)(ii), 3(2)(v) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015, on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Counsel for the appellant would submit that this Criminal Appeal may be dismissed as not pressed.

3.In view of the above submission, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as not pressed.

4. The respondent police is directed to file the charge sheet within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Thereafter, the trial court is directed to take the charge sheet on file, if it is otherwise in order and proceed with the case on day today basis and dispose the same within six months.
