12678 of 2024: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 10.04.2024 in accordance with law and issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property comprised in Survey No.185/43, measuring an extent of 10 cents situated at Thandarai Village, Tiruporur Taluk, Chengalpattu District In all WPs For Petitioners : Mr.K.Durai Murugan For Respondents : Mr.A.
COMMON ORDER Since the issue involved in this writ petition are one and the same, they are disposed of by way of this common order.
2. These writ petitions are filed for a direction to concerned Tahsildar for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of their properties.
3. It is the case of the writ petitioners that they are the absolute owners of the properties concerned. Hence, the petitioners submitted representations to the concerned Tahsildar on 06.02.2024, 12.04.2023 & 10.04.2024 respectively, however, the same are pending without consideration. Hence, these writ petitions.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. By consent of both parties, these writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
6. Considering the limited relief sought for in these writ petitions, the 3/6
Tahsildar concerned is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 06.02.2024, 12.04.2023 & 10.04.2024 respectively and pass appropriate orders by disposing of the petitioners' representations for issuance of patta, on merits and in accordance with law after giving notice to the interested parties, if any. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
