ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed making a prayer for directions to the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to remove all encroachments on Plot No.R-11 and maintain the public open space, including the semi public open space, as originally earmarked by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board.

2. We direct the Tamil Nadu Housing Board to cause an inspection to be made of the area to find out whether any open spaces had been encroached as alleged and if encroachments are found, to take action in accordance with law after notice to all concerned. The inspection be caused within 15 days of the receipt of the order and the action be taken within a maximum period of three months thereafter, if so required.
