ORDER

The petitioner is a neighbour of the second respondent. The petitioner (a social worker) complained to the first respondentCommissioner of Corporation of Chennai that the second respondent is carrying out indiscriminate demolition of building No.23/13, Vathiyar Garden Second Street, Kodambakkam, Chennai-600 024, illegally during day and night, thereby causing pollution and nuisance. In this regard, apart from lodging a Police complaint, the petitioner has also sent a complaint/representation, dated 15.06.2015 to the first respondent, and since no action is taken, the present Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to consider the said representation and report the same before this Court within a time frame.

2. On taking notice, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent-Corporation of Chennai submitted that the first respondent will look into the said representation and pass appropriate orders.

3. Taking into consideration the grievance of the petitioner as portrayed in the said representation/complaint and also considering https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the limited scope of the prayer made in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the first respondent-Commissioner of Corporation of Chennai to consider the said representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, the second respondent and any aggrieved parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order or on production of a copy of this order by the petitioner with a copy of the said representation, whichever is earlier.
