The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.33 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 353 r/w 34 of IPC and Section 77 of the JJ Act and Sections 22(b) and 8(c) of NDPS Act. 2.It is submitted by the learned Public Prosecutor, Puducherry, that showing the petitioner as an absconding accused, final report had been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mahe. 3.Since the petitioner had been shown as absconding accused, he should surrender before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mahe. 4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition would not lie and the same stands dismissed.
